The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) Enugu State Command has elevated 52 senior officers to various posts, and 55 freshly recruited officers have graduated.

This was revealed by Mrs. Azuka Halliday, the Assistant Comptroller General, at Thursday’s passing out procession and decoration of promoted officers at the Command.

The overall number of graduates, she claimed, is 55, with 27 men and 28 women.

Halliday admonished the freshly enlisted men and women to take their military oath seriously and to serve their country with honor, bravery, discipline, and a lack of selfishness and corruption.

She told them to be more aggressive and dedicated in their tasks, and that they should consider themselves fortunate to be recruited officers.

The promoted employees, in her opinion, were rewarded for their stellar performance in their previous roles.

A lot was expected of them, and she said it in the finest possible way.

“We need to make sure we’re managing our borders well right now. Transparency should be our utmost priority, she emphasized.
