A Channels TV reporter who was abducted returns home

Joshua Rogers, a correspondent with Channels Television, was kidnapped in Rivers State but is now free.

Rogers was allegedly followed to his home on Thursday night at around nine o’clock when he was abducted.

He was allegedly approached by his assailants at gunpoint and driven off in his car.

According to the godzgeneral, the thugs got in touch with his wife and demanded N30 million in ransom.

A few hours after the incident, Rogers’ kidnapping dominated the media, with several organizations demanding his unconditional release.

It’s unclear if a ransom was given to have him freed.

He was seen singing praises to God at his older brother’s house with other family members and friends.

An official statement regarding the incident has not yet been released by the Rivers State Police Command.
