The ex-wife of Nollywood star Emeka Ike, Suzanne Emma, has addressed her ex-husband’s recent assertions that she fabricated domestic abuse accusations against him, which caused him substantial financial harm.

During their 17-year marriage, Emma claimed that Ike abused her, according to a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo. She detailed an instance in which Ike physically attacked her and verbally scolded her when their child was critically sick at the hospital.

Once, we had to go to the emergency room since my child was really unwell. We were strapped for cash. On top of that, I was attempting to work out a deal with the medical facility to treat the kid and pay for it afterwards. Imeka Ike stormed in and began ranting, “You’re a fool,” while the process dragged on for a while. Things are out of your league. Just what is this? They are completely uncommunicative. Say who you are! You’re letting them get away with this and that, and they’re beneath you.

“When I became angry, I asked, ‘Sir, why are you acting like this?'” After that, I walked over to the car and sat down. As soon as he got in the car, Emeka Ike’s punch was the first thing I noticed on my jaw.

According to GODZGENERALBLOG, in 2017 a Lagos Island Customary Court annulled the marriage of Emeka Ike and his wife citing persistent violence as the reason. On July 13, 2015, Emma filed for a divorce from the Nollywood actor, with whom she had been married for 14 years.
