Manchester United player Casemiro has said that his team’s dismal form is causing him sleepless nights.
The Brazilian has now stated that the Red Devils must adopt a “day-to-day” mindset and not become sidetracked by the quest for Champions League positions.
United are sixth in the rankings, with 49 points.
Erik ten Hag’s side is 11 points behind fourth-placed Tottenham.
“This is challenging. This is the most frustrating aspect of not fighting for titles.
“We are 20 points behind first position. Sometimes I can’t sleep just thinking about doing something different.
It is reality. There’s no point in thinking about the title or Champions League places; we need to focus on today’s games,” Casemiro told ESPN Brazil following Sunday’s match against Liverpool.
