It is Onyeka’s desire that Osimhen join the Premier League

The midfielder for Brentford, Frank Onyeka, would be happy to watch his countryman Victor Osimhen play in the Premier League this coming summer.

In 16 league games this season for Napoli, Osimhen has scored eleven goals and added three assists.

Several Premier League clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United, have maintained interest in the 26-year-old.

The attacker is supposedly being courted by Paris Saint-Germain, the reigning Ligue 1 winners.

Nonetheless, Osimhen has stated his ambition to play in the Premier League in the future.

Sky Sports UK interviewed Onyeka, asking him about his time playing alongside Osimhen for Nigeria at the Africa Cup of Nations and whether he would be interested in joining Osimhen at Brentford.

Oh my god! He’s way too pricey! He wants to win, even though he’s a pretty kind guy. Not even in training does he like defeat. In an effort to motivate the guys around him, he is always pushing them. A fighter, he is.

Whenever the squad needs him, he’s there to provide a hand and defend them. Whenever his team is struggling, he is the first to rally behind them. Nothing can deter him. He was, in my opinion, among the tournament’s top performers, yet nobody pays attention to him.

“Perhaps he’ll join the Premier League.”
