According to Moghalu, Emefiele was incompetent in a number of areas, including the Naira’s stability, the handling of the Naira redesign policy, an unauthorized presidential campaign, and unlawful lending activities.
According to Moghalu’s X post, Emefiele was unqualified to be the CBN governor.
Even though many are now voicing their opinions on the subject of Emefiele’s performance as CBN Governor, Moghalu claims that his views on the subject have always been public knowledge.
“He is, without a doubt, the most detrimental and inept Central Bank Governor Nigeria has ever had. He was unqualified for the position, acted dishonestly, and all the evidence points to him having serious integrity issues.”
Emefiele was indicted of theft of funds following an investigative report on the CBN, which prompted his comment.
