Niger State’s governor, Umar Bago, has predicted that his government will collect more than N1 trillion.

In his estimation, this will be accomplished within the next five years via the Niger Food Security and Logistics Company.

This was announced on Saturday in Abuja by Abdullberqy Ebbo, the Governor’s Special Adviser on Digital Media and Strategy.

More than 100,000 farmers, who will be cultivating more than 100,000 acres of land throughout the state, would be employed by the move, he claims.

Sadik Kassim, executive director of the commodities off-takers TGI Group, and Mr. Sammy Adigun, chairman of Niger Foods, allegedly signed an agreement, according to him.

According to Ebbo, Malam Faruk Gumel, the executive vice chairman of TGI Group, and the chairman of Union Bank were the witnesses to the signing.
