Professor Chukwuma Soludo, Anambra State Governor, has warned his aides and other political office holders against stealing public cash.

Since taking office as Anambra governor, Soludo has advocated for increased patronage of Nigerian-made products and reduced governance costs.

The governor has also worn local fabrics and driven Innoson Motors automobiles.

Speaking at a thanksgiving ceremony hosted by Princess Chinwe Clara Nnabuife, a member of the Orumba North and South Federal Constituency, at St Paul’s Church in Umunze, the governor urged political office bearers to spend public finances responsibly.

He welcomed Nnabuife, who was previously a member of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), to the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

“I urge public officials to view their job as one entrusted to them by God for the benefit of the people.

“You must account to your constituents for every penny entrusted to you on their behalf.” “This is not your money.”

Nnabuife stated that she chose to join APGA because of Soludo’s unique leadership style.
