The governor of Bayelsa state, Senator Douye Diri, has made his way to Abuja to be a witness before the State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal.

At about 10:15 in the morning, the governor and his entourage—which included security personnel and well-wishers—arrived at the courtroom.

Chris Uche SAN, his main counsel, introduced him as he entered the courtroom.

As Diri watches, his legal team raises objections to the APC’s (and Timipre Sylva’s) new application, which asks the Tribunal members to step aside from hearing the APC’s (and Sylva’s) Petition against the governor.
