According to the Zamfara State Government, the Gusau Investment House project will cost N7.2 billion to finish.

After defending the ministry’s 2024 appropriation in the State House of Assembly, Abdurrahman Tumbido, the state commissioner for commerce, industry, and tourism, revealed this to newsmen on Saturday in Gusau.

According to NAN, the appropriation bill for the fiscal year 2024, totaling N423.5 billion, was presented to the assembly on Thursday by Zamfara Governor Dauda Lawal.

While previous Governor Mahmud Shinkafi was in office, construction on the investment house began on the 10-story structure that has yet to be finished.

Tumbido stated that the state’s appropriation for 2024 was to be used by Lawal to carry out the project.

The state government had planned to use the ministry to carry out a number of development projects with a combined value of N17 billion.

According to his explanation, “among others,” the budget included several big projects such as finishing the Gusau hotel project, reconstructing the Gusau old market, and modernizing the Gusau Central market.
