The Zamfara State Command of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has deployed 700 men to ensure appropriate security during and after the state’s Eid el Fitr celebrations.
Sani Mustapha, the State Commander, highlighted the importance of adequate policing across all Corps units and formations to prevent security breaches.
He stated that marketplaces and car parks must be appropriately secured, and that the Corps is planning to increase security in the state.
The State Commañdant aims to make Zamfara a crime-free state and will address all flash spots.
The Commandant revealed this when he received the Corps’ Public Relations Unit’s ‘An Iconic Administrator’ honor at the State Command.
