Posted by Before Eid-el-Fitr, the Kaduna state police command has declared a comprehensive security plan.
The command’s public relations officer, Mansir Hassan, stated in a statement on Tuesday that the command has implemented careful operational measures targeted at reducing the activities of criminal elements in the state in response to any security risks during the holiday season.
“Traditional and mobile police officers, including members of the Special Intervention Squad, SIS, have been strategically deployed to maintain peace in the state,” Hassan continued.
He claims that undercover agents have been assigned to keep an eye on important and susceptible areas while assuring the public that authorities are prepared to react quickly to distress calls and to take decisive action against any person or group that tries to disturb the calm during the holiday season.
He emphasized that the command works to reassure the public of their safety in coordination with all state security institutions.
